Extended Guarantee cover reaching 25,000 policies sales in Portugal
Following the successful launch of the Mobility Guarantee product with LeasePlan Portugal in September 2008, Euro Insurances now have an insured fleet of approximately 25,000 vehicles for this specialist cover. This product indemnifies the LeasePlan client for the cost of repairs to specific engine parts/electronic systems resulting from the negligent use of the vehicle by the driver, including all accessories and options included in the original model or leasing contract. This product is appealing as it circumvents liability discussions between the lessor and lessee when technical damages arise during the leasing period. In line with Euro Insurances commitment to product evolution, the cover offered under the existing Mobility Guarantee program will be extended to include replacement car cover in 2011.
